Adding a new account
Open Outlook
Select Personal Folders
Choose Tools->Account Settings
(Alternatively Tools->Options select Mail Settings Click Email Accounts)

Click “New”
Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP
Click Next
Tick “Manually configure server settings or additional server types”

Click Next

Select “Internet Email”
Type a name into your name
Enter the email address into E-Mail Address
Account type either POP3 or IMAP (IMAP requires some additional settings see below)
Incoming mail server “mail.yourdomain.tld” e.g. “mail.example.org”
Outgoing mail server (SMTP) “mail.yourdomain.tld” e.g. “mail.example.org”
User name is your full email address e.g. inf@example.org
Password enter your password
More Settings
Click More Settings
Select the Outgoing server tab

Tick “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication”
Select the Advanced tab

Incoming Server should be 143 for IMAP 110 for POP3
Change Outgoing Server (SMTP) to 587
Route folder path should be inbox
Click OK to return to Internet E-Mail Settings
Click Test Account Settings

You should see status completed for both Log onto incoming mailserver and Send test email.
Click Close
Click Next

A warning will pop up, Click OK
Click Finish.
